Call for Papers
International Arab Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education (IACQA), is a scientific refereed specialized conference in the field of higher education quality, held periodically in one of the Arab world universities, it stems with all of its bodies from the Arab Universities Association, and the Permanent Headquarters for its General Secretariat is at Zarqa University - the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
This conference, which gathers Arab universities in an up-to-date experiment, came to existence at Zarqa University – Jordan, the first conference was at Zarqa University / Jordan in (2011), the second at Gulf University / Bahrain in (2012), the third at Al-Zaytoonah University / Jordan in (2013), the fourth at Zarqa University / Jordan in (2014), the fifth was held at University of Sharjah / United Arab Emirates in (2015), the sixth at Sudan University of Science and Technology / the Republic of Sudan in (2016), and the seventh conference will be hold at Assiut University / Egypt Arab Republich during the period from 20-22 / 2 / 2017.
Assiut University:
Assiut University is located in the southern part of Egypt, this region was suffering from poverty and neglect. Assiut University came to provide university education for all layers of the society, and change the face of life in this region, and to fill up the flanks of science, knowledge, and enlightenment. The history of the University starts with the issuance of the Royal Decree No. 156 of 1949, the establishment of Assiut University (Mohammad Ali) in Assiut. Decree (1) stipulates a preparation of 4-7 years for the preparation of the necessary facilities to start study there, it is the only university in Egypt for which the law established that it is not permissible to admit students except after a period of preparation of 4 to 7 years, to prepare during this period the human and material resources so that the study begins with all the potentials available, and it is the first university established outside the two capitals in southern Egypt, the first University that includs four branches: Minya, Sohag, Qena, and Aswan extended for a distance of over 750 kilometers, which became independent after that at the Universities of Minya, and South of the Valley. The fifth branch newly emerged New Valley, which is the first university to adopt the unified system of the scientific departments, so as not to repeat corresponding departments in different colleges, a system adopted by the universities which arose thereafter, Assiut University singled out as being established in one campus, featuring all the university facilities like: faculties, university hospitals, students’ city, sports city, housing for faculty members, educational workshops, farms, and a hotel.

• Self-study methodologies for programs.
3. governance of higher education institution:
• Strategic Planning.
• The strategic plan.
4. Assessing models of quality assurance in higher education.
5. Performance evaluation indicators.
6. Innovation and excellence in higher education institutions (strategies, mechanisms for implementation, and scientific paper).
7. General framework of qualifications.
Interested paperers are to present their scientific papers to the conference in one of the two languages: Arabic or English, and no more than 15 pages for the single paper, including photographs, diagrams, tables, and a list of references. Papers are submitted to the General Secretariat of the conference by using the text editor MsWord (2003), by e-mail at (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), or upload the paper using the electronic conference management system, through the website (www.iacqa.org/openconf). The submitted papers are subject of scientific to arbitration, according rules and regulations, by specialists in the field of paper. Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference.
Conference awards:
A reward will be awarded for the best paper in each axis in the value of (200 $) and a certificate of appreciation for the author.

17/11/2016, Deadline for receiving the full paper.
12/01/2016, Deadline to inform the researcher of accepting their papers.
15/12/2016, Last date for submitting a paper after the amendments (if there are any required).
02/01/2017, The deadline to register for the conference.
20-21 / 2/2017, Two workshops.
20-22 / 2/2017, The time of holding the conference.
Entry Fee:
From outside Egypt
600 $ for participants with one paper.
650 $ for participants without a paper (attendance only).
The fees include attending the conference and two workshops, the conference bag, hotel accommodation for four nights, full meals, attending the conference in Assiut and Luxor, and transportation from Assiut Airport to Assiut Hotels and from Luxur to Luxor Airport.
From within Egypt
-(2500) Egyptian pounds, and the fees include attending the conference in Assiut and Luxor, which include two workshops, the conference bag, hotel accommodation for four nights, and full meals.
- (500) Egyptian pounds, to take part in the workshops in Assiut only, and this does not include accommodation.
