The International Arab Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education is a refereed scientific conference specialized in the field of quality of higher education. It is held periodically in one of the universities of the Arab world. All its bodies emanate from the Union of Arab Universities, and it has been based in Zarqa University since 2011.
The conference aims to highlight the importance of ensuring the quality of higher education and its impact on the development and upgrading of Arab universities.
Venue:
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the International Arab Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education, Zarqa University decided to host this conference for this year until it returns to the country from which it started, and the university that hosted when it was first launch. So the tenth session of the International Arab Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education (IACQA '2020) will be held in Zarqa University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from 21 to 23of April 2020.
As the first private university in Zarqa governorate, Zarqa University was established in 1994 to be one of the Jordanian public and private universities with the same approach and goal.
The university has fourteen faculties, seven of which are humanities, six of which are scientific, distributed among seven four different specializations. The University also has a graduate Faculty which for master's programs in various faculties, namely: Master of English Language and Literature, Business Administration, Marketing, Software Engineering, Intellectual Property, Islamic Banking, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Nursing Management, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
This year the University celebrated the Silver Jubilee for its establishment, the university embodied the high scientific model mixed with love of the country throughout this period.

Interested researchers should submit their scientific papers to the conference in Arabic or English, in no more than 15 pages per paper, including images, illustrations, tables, and reference list. Papers are submitted to the Conference Secretariat using the Word Ms 2003/2010 version, by uploading the search using the electronic conference management system, via the website http://www.iacqa.org/openconf.
Papers will be subject to scientific arbitration by research specialists, and the accepted ones will be published in the e-conference proceedings book. The top ten papers presented at the conference will be selected for publication in the International Journal for Quality Assurance.
Important Dates:
- 16/01/2020 Deadline for receipt of the complete paper.
- 30/01/2020 Date of informing researchers of acceptance of their paper.
- 13/02/2020 Deadline for submitting the research after making the amendment.
- 1/3/2020 Deadline for registration at the conference.
- 21-23/04/2020The period for holding the Conference.
Subscription Fees
From outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan:
$600 for participants with a paper.
$650 for participants without a paper (attendance only).
The fees include attendance at the conference, workshop, conference bag, and hotel accommodation for the duration of four nights, meals, airport pick-up and transfer from the hotel to the venue of the conference and vice versa, and a trip to Petra.
